Piano lessons cost $35 per half hour lesson. I plan on teaching 46 weeks out of the year. Your monthly payment will be $135, which is invoiced at the beginning of the month. There is also a $30 charge at the beginning to cover books and other materials. Books are not covered in the monthly payment and will be billed separately, as needed. Students are typically in the same books for 3-6 months. A new set of books costs $30, approximately. Payment can be made online via Paypal, and is due by the 15th of the month.
If you or your child need to cancel, please allow 24 hours. If the lesson is canceled within 24 hours, I will attempt to reschedule the lesson that week. There is no refund given for missed lessons, however I will attempt to reschedule if given a 24 hour notice. If I am sick, I will attempt to reschedule that same week. Lessons are not canceled due to inclement weather, however I am happy to teach using Zoom or Facetime if the student is unable to get to get to my home. I'm also willing to teach over Zoom or Facetime if the student is unable to make it to my home for whatever reason.
I am happy to teach 2 trial lessons at $35 per lesson to see if I'm a good fit for you and your child. Please contact me using the new student sign up form and let me know you're interested in trial lessons! I would loan the books needed during this time.
I teach students ages 5 and up.
The studio is on break for 6 weeks out of the year. These weeks are Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. You will receive a reminder email for each of these weeks.
